Welcome to the weekend, and welcome to the Saturday 7.
The coronation only happens once in a generation, and England is a markedly less-Christian nation than it was at the last ceremony. So, it may come as a surprise to many how the coronation is less about the power and authority of the new monarch and more about his responsibility to show a Christlike mercy and generosity and to serve the people.
It is our honor to bring this story about the Christian meaning in the coronation to you from the former Bishop of Kensington, the Right Reverend Dr Graham Tomlin.
Want to gather your friends to explore the topic of generosity together? Consider a Journey of Generosity (JOG), and explore how money can be used to shape your heart and lead you toward the life that is truly life. Connect with your local NCF team to find one you can join or plan a JOG of your own.
This week, a team from National Christian Foundation joined approximately 1,000 Christian business leaders at C12’s CURRENT’23 conference in Denver. Leaders from across the country gathered at the event to explore how to advance the gospel in the marketplace. We’re honored to participate in serving these leaders.
Philippians 3:20 says, “Our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Let’s worship as we await the coming of the one true King: Jesus.
Jesus, our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace is also our King of kings. Isaiah tells us that the government will rest upon his shoulders. Praise God for our King and his coming kingdom.
Saturday 7 is brought to you by our team at the National Christian Foundation (NCF). We would love to help you create your Giving Strategy™ so you can experience more joy and adventure as you pursue a life of generosity. Find an NCF location near you at ncfgiving.com/locations.
