As we were preparing this week’s Saturday 7, we lost one of evangelism’s greatest champions. Paul Eshleman, best known for making The Jesus Film, the most-translated movie of all time, passed away Wednesday. We dedicate this edition to him. Well done, good and faithful servant!

Welcome to the weekend, and welcome to the Saturday 7.
Jesus told his disciples to take the gospel to the ends of the earth, and they made great progress toward that goal. But more than 2,000 years later, not everyone has had an opportunity to hear the gospel. How can this be?
In this edition, you’ll learn about the biblical mandate to bring the gospel to all nations, why achieving that goal has become so difficult, and what missions organizations are doing to fulfill God’s calling.
As Christians with access to the gospel, we may find it difficult to know how to pray for those who remain unreached. We’ve curated a worship set to help you. As you listen, perhaps the lyrics will put words to your prayers.
Often, the hardest places to reach are also the places where people are persecuted most severely. Learn where lack of the gospel and persecution go hand in hand. Consider joining with friends or families at planned times to pray for the unreached and the persecuted.
Saturday 7 is brought to you by our team at the National Christian Foundation (NCF). We would love to help you create your Giving Strategy™ so you can experience more joy and adventure as you pursue a life of generosity. Find an NCF location near you at ncfgiving.com/locations.
