- When and where is IMPACT?
IMPACT begins at 5 p.m. CST on Thursday, October 1, 2015, and ends at 12 p.m. CST on Saturday, October 3, 2015. The event will be in Dallas, Texas, at the Fairmont Hotel, which is located in the heart of the downtown art district.
- How much does the event cost?
IMPACT is $750 per person, which includes all of the speakers, entertainment, workshops, and meals during the event. If you’re a current NCF giver, you can use your Giving Fund to pay for your event registration. Credit cards are also accepted.
- What is the purpose of this event?
The purpose of IMPACT is to connect givers from across the country to focus on God’s big story going on all around the world. We believe this gathering will be a catalytic event in “mobilizing an unprecedented abundance of Kingdom resources to accomplish every good work” (NCF's vision statement).
- How is this event different from other generosity events?
IMPACT is for people who are actively involved in giving to the causes they care about the most, and want to go deeper in knowing how to give more responsibly, with greater passion, and with an eternal perspective. Through inspiring speakers, roundtable discussions, and breakout sessions, attendees will have a greater understanding in how God is moving around the world, and how they can be a part of His story.
- Is this event a fundraiser?
No solicitations for donations will be made at this event or in any event follow-up communications. This is a safe environment where attendees can focus on being inspired and motivated to propel the generosity movement forward.
- Who is invited?
The primary audience for this event is the NCF community: givers, affiliate presidents and boards, "giving champions," and local leaders who have a strong relationship with NCF. We encourage each attendee to bring their spouse and any adult children who share their passion for giving. With 28 offices around the country, we anticipate givers to attend from across the NCF network.
- How large is this event?
Our capacity is limited by the size of the ballroom, which seats 550 people.
- What is the format of the event?
IMPACT will feature a combination of general sessions, interactive workshops, as well as time to connect with other givers.
- Who will be speaking?
While we are preparing a special lineup of speakers including Chuck Swindoll, and subject matter experts from around the world, the real headliners of the event will be the participants. We’re building a valuable and practical program that deeply involves attendees, utilizes their skills, and relies heavily on peer-to-peer best practices and encouragement.
