Grayson Hall is retired chairman and CEO of Regions Financial Corporation. Regions is a bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest, Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, AL.
He graduated from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee, in 1979 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. In 1980, he received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He attended Stonier Graduate School of Banking and executive development programs at Harvard Business School.
Hall serves on the public company boards of Vulcan Materials, Alabama Power, Great Southern Wood, and as a Trustee of the Crimson Tide Foundation. He previously served on the boards of the Birmingham Business Alliance, the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He has served for many years on the board of Young Business Leaders, a non-denominational Christian ministry.
Grayson and his wife, Susan, are members of the Church at Brookhills.
