Start 2019 by Making an Impact in Chicago!

Here at NCF Chicago, our desire is for God to grow the Church in community and generosity.  One way we wanted to put this into action was by partnering with Illinois based charities to make an impact locally.  We became aware of the need for a playground in the newly renovated Cabrini-Green location of By The Hand Club For Kids.  At the same time, we became more closely connected to Kids Around the World, a charity based in Rockford, IL that partners with organizations worldwide to establish playgrounds in poverty-stricken communities.

As God stirred conversations and relationships between the three organizations, we agreed to join efforts to raise funds for this project.  Our goal is to raise $40,000 by February 1, 2019.  The playground installation will then be organized by the Kids Around the World team.  Plans to celebrate this project together will commence in late spring.
