Waters served as National Christian Foundation Houston (NCF Houston) President between June of 2014 to May of 2019. Waters will remain involved to ensure a smooth transition to Bert Smith, NCF Houston’s new President. Waters spent most of his business career in Houston working in real estate, private equity, and different facets of the energy business. Waters has worked in leadership positions as a consultant with McKinsey and executive positions of large organizations including Reliant Energy where he was President of the Retail Energy Division at the time of electricity deregulation in Texas in 2002 as well as several smaller organizations. He previously served as an Executive Advisor with CCMP Capital Advisors and currently serves on the boards of Targa Corporation and Milacron. Waters has an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has a passion for discipleship and equipping the Body of Christ to raise up fruit bearing disciples. Waters is actively involved at Chapelwood Methodist Church. He is married to Karen and has two sons.
