Matt serves as Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer (CSMO) and leads the envisioning, design and enterprise-wide execution of an integrated go-to-market strategy, including experience design and product management functions. He also oversees the Marketing and Communication team and the development of tools and resources to guide givers throughout their giving journey. Matt leads collaboration and development strategies for the Advisor, Partner, and Ministry Channels.
He holds a BBA in Business Management with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Creation from Kennesaw State University where he earned a four-year basketball scholarship. He is also a graduate of the Cannon Trust School and holds the professional designation Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) in the areas of fiduciary responsibilities, trust activities, personal finance, insurance, estate planning, tax planning, and investment management.
Matt and his wife Deana have two teenage children, Jesse and Ella, and are members of First Baptist Woodstock where Matt serves on the Finance and Personnel Committees and teaches an adult Bible study. When the time allows, he enjoys time on the golf course and exploring the history of the game.
