Welcome to the weekend, and welcome to the Saturday 7.
Everything good comes from God, even the love we have for him and each other. We only give because he enabled us to do so. Our ability to be generous, and even the instinct – the desire to give to see God’s kingdom come – comes from him. That is the work of the Holy Spirit and a result of God’s divine image in us. It compels us toward joy, and it’s also a way to know that we can trust him.
NCF giver Ed Rigaud has faced plenty of hardships and overcome them. He says he considered them just distractions. This led him to great success and into roles of leading and serving others. Learn how Ed uses his money and his influence as generosity and finds great joy in doing so.
The last few months and weeks of the year are commonly referred to as the “giving season,” when charities receive as much as 40% or more of their charitable gifts. Join NCF for our next Inside Major Gifts webinar, where we’ll look at ways non-profit leaders can level up their year-end major gifts strategy.
If so, you'll love the inspiration and encouragement about biblical generosity on NCF’s profile. Follow @ncfgiving to get a glimpse into the powerful stories, latest trends, testimonials, and news of what God is doing in and through the NCF community of givers and charities.
Saturday 7 is brought to you by our team at the National Christian Foundation (NCF). We would love to help you create your Giving Strategy™, so you can experience more joy and adventure as you pursue a life of generosity. Find an NCF location near you at ncfgiving.com/locations.
