Baptist Health named Ben Mollere Corporate Vice President, Hospitality and Business Relations as of July, 2010. The newly created HBR division was tasked with the administration of Baptist’s Maritime Medical Services, Corporate Sales, Hospitality Services, and in June, 2017, operational oversight of Governmental & Community Relations. The combined organization seeks out and cultivates revenue producing & brand enhancing initiatives that benefit Baptist Health.
The Maritime Medical Services team has worked to provide healthcare & medical services to crew members on-board the major cruise lines. The Corporate Sales team is the business development group engaging businesses in South Florida, and serves to stimulate demand and awareness for all Baptist Health entities. The Hospitality Services team works in conjunction with the robust Baptist Health International and Baptist Health Foundation to provide high-touch concierge services to both division’s patient population. In addition, the HBR team works in conjunction with the Baptist Health Foundation to facilitate corporate philanthropy.
Before joining Baptist, Mollere enjoyed a 28-year hotel career with Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, St. Regis, and The Biltmore in Coral Gables. In 2007, he acquired four licenses as an agent with Seitlin Insurance in Miami. He has been active in the Miami community, having served as Chairman of The Beacon Council. He currently serves as a member of the Board to The Beacon Council, The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Camillus House, and History Miami. He has served on the boards of The American Red Cross, Coral Gables Community Foundation, and remains active with the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way of Florida. He is completing course work at Florida International University to receive his Masters of Business Administration.
