Daniel L. Smith has combined 35 years of experience in successfully directing his companies from start up to closing, with billions of dollars in transactions. Dan is a founding partner of SM2 Advisors, LLC, which specializes in establishing exit strategies and selling closely held middle market businesses, including their real estate, for their clients. As an intermediary in the M&A industry, Dan is passionate about exclusively selling companies for his clients to strategically aligned buyers both domestically and internationally. Dan is also founder and partner of several other companies that have each served decades of service and are each still in existence, including two real estate brokerage firms in South Florida, an IT software development and implementation company based in North Carolina, and the national M&A intermediary business of selling businesses practice.

Dan’s greatest blessing is his family, starting with his wife Julie (married for forty years), two grown daughters, a son-in-law and two granddaughters. Dan and Julie are members of Truth Point Church in West Palm Beach. Dan has served on the Board of Directors of Sheridan House Ministries for over 30 years, Knox Theological Seminary for 24 years, Westminster Academy, Charlotte Christian School, The National Christian Foundation of South Florida, and many other both professional and civic boards in Florida, North Carolina and the U.S., with the ultimate goal of serving God in his community.
