Spiritus Relief: Breathing Life into the COVID-19 Crisis
In times of crisis, the NCF South Florida team often activates funds to support those most impacted. We’ve heard many stories of people suffering from poor health, lost jobs, financial and emotional strain – the list goes on – all as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In dark hours like these, we rely on our Gospel Patrons – our NCFSF givers – to be the hope and light of the world.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden…let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” –Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV)
Thanks to the unique ecosystem we’ve developed with Church United, Lifework Leadership and Ministry Ventures, our team has been able to hear of and respond to needs both within our community and abroad. The Spiritus Relief Fund is just one of the results of the strength of this network – through this fund, givers have the opportunity to support victims of the coronavirus pandemic, knowing that, through our community connections, we’re investing these contributions to worthy charities on the front lines of providing relief.
