COVID-19: Help Sew Masks
As we are all aware by now, there is a significant shortage of face masks for our care providers nationwide. Last week, a hospital in Seattle began a 1 Million mask drive seeking volunteers and donations to help produce face masks to meet the impending need. Allina Hospitals in Minnesota now have a similar campaign up and running.
Masks and other supplies can be safely donated daily starting Sunday, March 22 through Sunday, April 5, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at most Allina Health hospitals. When you come to donate, remain in your car. A staff member will come to you to accept your donation. Look for signage as you arrive. To arrange donations on a pallet, please email CaringForCaregivers@allina.com and someone from Allina Health will connect with you for next steps.
