About NCF West Michigan

The National Christian Foundation of West Michigan was founded as the West Michigan Christian Foundation in 2000 by a group of business men and women with seed money from the local Grand Rapids congregation at Calvary Church. The organization pursues its Mission of mobilizing resources by inspiring biblical generosity.

In 2003, Randy Veltkamp was named the president of the West Michigan Christian Foundation. Under Randy’s leadership the organization joined with National Christian Foundation as the West Michigan affiliate. As the largest faith-based provider of donor-advised funds in the country, the National Christian Foundation has received over $15.5 billion in contributions and made over $11.6 billion in grants to thousands of churches, ministries, and non-profits.

NCF West Michigan serves approximately 800 families throughout Western and Northern Michigan to maximize their charitable impact and glorify God by giving through one of the most trusted Christian Foundations. Through our affiliation with NCF, we are able to bring national level expertise to our community, helping to multiply your charitable impact through tax-smart giving strategies.

Since its inception in 2000, National Christian Foundation of West Michigan has received over $415 million in gifts and distributed over $260 million in grants.
