Steven L. Perry graduated from Azusa Pacific University (’75) with a B.A. in Religion. At APU he met his wife of over 48 years, Susie Segerstrom. In 1979 he completed his Masters of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary (’79) and then served as an Associate Pastor at Grace Lutheran (’79-’84), Huntington Beach , CA, and later as Senior Pastor of Mission Lutheran Church (’84-’96), Laguna Niguel, CA. 1996 he co-founded the National Christian Foundation office in California. In 2003 he and Susie started their family foundation, Sacred Harvest Foundation, which seeks to bring God’s Shalom to the communities of Orange County, CA., Island of Maui and Mindanao Philippines.

Steve is the author of the Living With Wealth Without Losing Your Soul: A Pastor’s Journey from Guilt to Grace and The Accidental Philanthropist: A Journey towards Intentional  Generosity. He currently serves on the boards of Azusa Pacific University, National Christian Foundation California, and Fieldstone Leadership Network.

Steve and Susie have two children, Jennifer and Matthew. Jennifer is married to Dr. Ryan Somers, with whom she has four children, Ethan, Audrey, Danny and Makayla.
