As we enter the Lenten season, we are invited to slow down and examine the posture of our hearts before the Lord. Lent is a sacred opportunity to create space for reflection, surrender, and renewed dependence on God’s grace. It calls us to loosen our grip on distractions and reorient our desires toward what matters most, loving God deeply and walking faithfully with Him. When our hearts are humble, grateful, and attentive, every act, whether giving, serving, or praying, flows from worship rather than obligation.

On February 6, NCF Austin joined more than 100 watch parties worldwide for the 2026 Faith Driven Investor Conference, gathering our local community for an inspiring time of fellowship, learning, and meaningful conversation. Through engaging videos and fireside chats with Austin leaders, we were encouraged to move beyond simply storing wealth and instead sow it with conviction, seeking God’s guidance in how we invest, spend, save, and give. The conference reminded us that faith and finance are not separate pursuits, but deeply connected callings, and it was a powerful way to begin 2026 grounded in faithful stewardship and shared vision.
