WHY NCF
The leading catalyst for Christian giving
What makes NCF different
Established in 1982, NCF was built by founders who understood that Christian givers approach generosity differently and need an ally who gets that. We’re here to help you make the most of every dollar, every decision, and every giving opportunity.
Biblical perspective on giving
Rooted in Scripture, we approach giving as an act of worship and discipleship.
Trusted giving experience
With more than 40 years guiding Christian givers, we have solutions that help you make the most of every gift.
Local, generous communities
With 30+ local offices supporting 180 communities, we combine personal relationships with national scale.
Connections to the generosity ecosystem
We help you engage with an extensive network of advisors, ministries, and innovators to support your giving journey.
We believe giving is about more than the financial transaction.
At NCF, we believe biblical generosity is far more than financial transactions. It’s a spiritual practice with the power to transform every area of your life.
That’s why the heart of our ministry is to walk with you in faithful stewardship of not just your finances, but of all areas of life entrusted to you. Along this journey, we’ve discovered a deeper peace, abiding joy, and a lasting legacy.
Our prayer is that you would discover it too.

See how God is working through the lives of faithful givers

I began examining everything, asking myself: Is hanging onto this going to bring me closer to God or am I holding onto something that’s distracting me from the life that is truly worth living?
Joe Pringle

When friends are going on missions trips, we’re prepared. We have a fund for that. We know it’s already dedicated for giving. So when we get an opportunity to give, it’s easy.
Stephanie Cantrell

It’s an amazing thing to see what happens when people become generous. It will open their hearts to God, because he is the greatest giver of all.
Chet Stewart

It’s one thing to tell people about your love of giving. It’s another to invite them to be a part of it. Our extended family loves giving together.

COMMITMENT TO TRANSPARENCY
How we wisely steward what God has entrusted to us
We are committed to stewarding every gift with excellence. That means we manage our operations efficiently and faithfully, keeping your impact top priority so more can be mobilized for God’s kingdom.
Since 1982, we’ve helped givers grant more than $25 billion to ministries and charities around the world.

How we fund our ministry
As a non-profit ministry, we’re primarily sustained by donations and modest fees on the funds entrusted to us. These fees don’t go to shareholders or sales commissions; they help expand the movement of biblical generosity. We exist to serve your generosity, not profit from it.
