Our team at NCF is excited to announce that Chris Holdorf will join us in December as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO)!
Chris brings a wealth of experience and expertise in corporate, church, and non-profit settings, including a focus on finance and business leadership. But most importantly, he has a strong, growing faith in God that supports NCF's vision to see every person reached and restored through the love of Christ.
Most recently, Chris served as senior pastor at the 1,500-member Oak Hill Baptist Church in Griffin, Georgia. Prior to that, he was executive pastor at First Redeemer Church in Cumming, Georgia, where he was instrumental in leading the church’s growth from 90 people at its inception in 1996 to over 4,200 members when he accepted the Oak Hill pastorate.
Chris also has held senior executive positions with several Fortune 100 companies, including Certified Public Accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co., Vice President at Contel Corporation, Director of Taxes at GTE, and Director of Taxes and International Business Development at Southern Electric International, a subsidiary of The Southern Company.
“Our entire team at NCF is very pleased to have Chris join our organization,” said Jay Bennett, NCF’s Chairman of the Board. “His blend of experience and expertise in finance, leadership, strategy, and non-profit administration is an ideal fit for us as we seek to expand our charitable impact around the world. His passion, heart, and gifting aligns perfectly with our vision and mission. We are blessed to have Chris lead our team in pursuing exciting growth opportunities in front of us.”
Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Georgia. He received his Masters of Arts in Theology from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and also holds an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Emmanuel Theological Seminary in Kota, India. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University.
He is also a frequent speaker to business groups and consultant concerning strategy and organizational vision. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Hopegivers International (an international church planting and orphan support ministry), Raceway Ministries Atlanta, The Rotary Club of Griffin, and the Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce.
Chris and his wife Lynn both grew up in Dekalb County, Georgia. They have been married for thirty-six years and have two grown married children. Their son Christopher is the pastor of Morgan Baptist Church in Morgan, Georgia, and is the father of their only grandson, Colton. Their daughter Emily is a graphic designer in Charleston, South Carolina.
Please join us in welcoming Chris to the NCF team, and may God bless him during this exciting time!
