Help victims of the wildfires
Make a donationMany in our community have been impacted by the wildfires sweeping across South Georgia. Tens of thousands of acres have already burned and the many fires are only partially contained. More than half of our state is under a formal state of emergency as these fires continue to destroy lives and property.
As our neighbors have been evacuated and have already lost their homes, the fires continue. We know that the number of those affected will grow. If you feel called to share the compassion of Christ with those who are affected by these wildfires, here’s how you can help.

Pray
With our state experiencing widespread extreme drought conditions, there is a deep need for rain – rain to help extinguish the current fires and to reduce the risk of new ones igniting. Please also pray for the farmers and agricultural community as they navigate these unexpected challenges to their livelihoods. Finally, lift up our first responders, asking for strength, protection, and endurance as they work diligently to contain the fires and prevent further spread.
