Dave Johnson

Dave is responsible for leading the teams that provide complex gift, supporting organization, and charitable gift annuity services to NCF givers and their families. Prior to this role, he served as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for 22 years, leading the investment, finance, accounting, and regulatory compliance functions.

Dave has served in a senior financial executive role for more than 30 years and became a CPA while working in the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche’s San Diego office. He then served as the CFO of The INJOY Group, a conglomerate of companies specializing in leadership development, church growth, and capital-fundraising consulting for private and non-profit organizations.

He holds an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University and is a licensed CPA in California and Georgia. Dave also served in the U.S. Navy.
