National Christian Foundation Orlando Surpasses $500 Million in Giving

NCF continues to lead the industry in annual grant rate, reflecting deep faith and community generosity

National Christian Foundation Orlando, a local affiliate of the National Christian Foundation (NCF) and the largest grant-making organization in the city of Orlando, today announced it has surpassed $500 million in cumulative giving. The milestone reflects the generosity of nearly 1,500 families throughout Central Florida who are transforming lives through faith-driven philanthropy.

“Crossing the $500 million mark represents more than a milestone—it’s a reflection of the deep faith and generosity that define this community,” said Rick Steinberger, CEO of NCF Orlando. “Every dollar given represents a story of trust, transformation, and purpose. It’s humbling to witness how Central Florida families continue to live out their calling through generosity.”

Scott Boyd, Board Chair of NCF Orlando, noted that the organization’s consistent focus has been key to its impact: “The team’s threefold commitment to making giving simple, strategic, and rooted in community helped mobilize more than $63 million in grants in 2024 alone. Our $1 billion granting goal by 2030 remains in reach and this achievement serves as a powerful reminder of how much can be accomplished when families align their resources with faith and purpose.”

NCF Orlando continues to build on a rich legacy of generosity and community impact through numerous strategic partners and an expanding network of families and organizations committed to building a redemptive ecosystem of generosity. The team remains dedicated to serving families, ministries, and nonprofits with excellence, integrity, and a shared desire to see generosity transform lives.

Over the years, NCF Orlando givers have directed their support across a wide spectrum of causes, both locally and globally. The top areas of giving include:

Church and Church Planting: $131 million
Education: $74 million
Missions: $32 million
Humanitarian Aid & Development: $23 million
Community Development: $16 million

In addition, NCF Orlando givers have contributed more than $44 million in grants supporting medical care, developmental disabilities, food supply, adoption and foster care, homelessness, and anti-trafficking efforts. Together, these gifts reflect the organization’s ongoing commitment to serving the physical, spiritual, and social needs of communities worldwide.

Tim Seneff, who served as CEO of NCF Orlando from 2012 to 2024, reflected on the heart behind this movement:
