Our Neighbors are in Need

We have an opportunity for impact.

As you may have heard, the USDA recently announced that it will not be able to issue November Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to participants.

More than 887,000 people in Arizona rely on SNAP to help put food on the table. In neighboring New Mexico, about one in five residents depend on this same support to meet their most basic needs.

These aren’t just numbers, they represent families in our communities, people we pass in the grocery store, and parents working hard to provide for their children. They’re our neighbors.

Matthew 25:35–40 reminds us that when we feed the hungry and care for those in need, we are answering Christ’s call to love and serve “the least of these.”

Food bank teams across our region are preparing for an overwhelming increase in need. They’ll need our prayers, and if possible, our partnership to meet that demand.

At NCF Southwest, our mission is to mobilize resources by inspiring biblical generosity. Today, that mission calls us to act. We invite you to prayerfully consider making either a financial or physical food donation to one of the food banks listed below. These organizations are serving on the front lines every day.

Your Giving Fund is a powerful tool to make Kingdom-minded impact right here in your own backyard.
