New investment pools for your Giving Fund: What you need to know

In September, our thoughtfully redesigned investment poolsopens in a new tab will become available, with a range of new options, giving you greater flexibility for aligning your Giving Fund with your values and charitable goals. This transition has been carefully planned to ensure your Giving Fund activity continues without interruption. Below, you’ll find an overview of what’s changing, when the transition will take place, how your current Giving Fund balance will be allocated, and when you’ll be able to update your investment selections.
Timing and transition
The transition will begin in early September and complete within the same week. Here’s what you need to know:
- No action is required from you. Your current allocation will transition automatically based on your existing selections.
- You can keep giving and granting throughout the transition.
- Your investment selections may temporarily show a balance of zero or not reflect recent requests. This is expected and will update once the transition is complete.
- You’re welcome to submit a new investment selection request during the transition. If you do, it will be processed once the transition wraps up.
- Once the transition is complete, we’ll notify you, and the 30-day waiting period for investment changes will reset, so you can fine-tune your selections if you’d like.
- Separately Managed Accounts will not be affected by this transition.
