Samuel Blumenthal

Board of Directors

Sam Blumenthal is a retired clinical psychologist who grew up in a Reform Jewish home in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he still resides. He is the proud father of three grown sons and has two daughters-in-law and five grandchildren, whom he loves very much. He came to faith in Christ at the age of forty-five in the midst of life’s struggles, which is another way of saying the God of the Bible opened his eyes to what had always been the truth of his life, he had just refused to see it. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Blumenthal Holdings and RSC Bio, a family business that traces its roots back to 1924. He serves on a number of nonprofit and ministry boards, especially anything Bluegrass. He teaches Bible at the Charlotte Rescue Mission and in the New City Church Lost and Found Adult Fellowship Class. He is a writer, anticipating the publication of his first book, Once Upon A Time, A Collection of Short Stories for Those Trying to Find Their Way Home, in the Spring of 2023 by Redemption Press.
