Dan Nickodemus

Senior Vice President (Ann Arbor)

Dan works as part of the NCF Michigan team to build relationships with current and future givers and their professional advisors to create well-planned, intentional strategies for their giving so that they can achieve their goals of Biblical generosity. He also helps givers and their ministries by providing innovative and tax-efficient giving solutions.

Most of Dan’s career has been spent in leadership roles with Thrivent Financial, where he has served as Managing Partner of the Great Lakes Region and a Financial Consultant since 1990. He holds his Certified Financial Planner, CFP® designation, has a BS in Business Administration from CMU, and earned his executive MBA from the DeVos Graduate School of Management at Northwood University.

He and his wife, Kathy, have two grown sons. They attend Historic Trinity Lutheran Church downtown Detroit and are active volunteers with several ministries. Dan is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys wilderness backpacking, reading, and spending time with their two grandchildren.
