South Florida Flood Relief Opportunities

As South Florida experienced unprecedented flooding last week, we want to inform you of 3 opportunities to uplift those who have been severely impacted:

  1. Pray. First and foremost, we need to be in prayer for the safety, loss and pain of those who have been impacted by the storm.
  2. Give. We have activated The NCFSF Disaster Relief and Crisis Fund for anyone who would like to provide financial relief. Make a gift here (you’ll be redirected to our secure giving platform), or continue reading to learn more about the fund. *If you already have an NCF Giving Fund, follow these instructions to make a fund to fund transfer to The NCFSF Disaster Relief and Crisis Fund, or contact Lycet Corbo.
  3. Volunteer. Our team has been and will continue to work closely with Samaritan’s Purse as we determine the best course of action to lift up the most severely affected neighborhoods. Volunteer opportunities with Samaritan’s Purse are available beginning Tuesday, April 18th, and will be organized out of their designated host site: First Baptist Fort Lauderdale. Learn more and sign up to volunteer here.

We stand ready to serve you and those impacted in any way that we can. Whether through our Invest, Equip or Unite initiatives, NCFSF has always made a commitment to collaboratively respond to the pain of our community well after the news cycle has ended – the flooding events of last week are no different.

THE DISASTER RELIEF AND CRISIS FUND

Unlike GoFundme, The Red Cross, and similar donation platforms, our Disaster Relief and Crisis Fund ensures that 100% of your gift goes directly to relief efforts and in service of those in desperate need without any overhead or administrative fees. Our commitment is to keep you informed as we coordinate with local churches, Samaritan’s Purse, and ministry partners on the ground in effected areas.

The NCFSF Disaster Relief and Crisis Fund is activated during severe storms and community crisis and serves as a fund dedicated to providing hope, help, and healing. For those looking to provide financial support for those impacted by the flooding, you may do so by contributing to the NCFSF Disaster Relief and Crisis Fund using the button below or by contacting Lycet Corbo by phone (954.334.1874) or email (lcorbo@ncfgiving.com).

*If you already have an NCF Giving Fund, follow these instructions to make a fund to fund transfer to The NCFSF Disaster Relief and Crisis Fund, or contact Lycet Corbo.

As always, if we can serve you in any way, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. We continue to pray for God’s provision for those in need and are ready to link arms with you in prayer and in response to the pain and loss caused by this storm.
