The Nehemiah Funds

The Nehemiah Funds is an initiative of the National Christian Foundation Twin Cities that exists to help donors:

• Learn and think holistically about areas of philanthropic interest,
• Build community and connection with like-minded givers, and
• Invest in causes they care about more strategically and impactfully, through:
  • An event series profiling local leaders working on the same topics from different angles where donors can gather to connect and learn in a safe space with no financial ask,
  • Accompanied by resources for guided giving, including a series of topically organized donor advised funds that make grants to 8-12 Christ-centered, local organizations working across each topic each year.

Since 2021, we’ve hosted four events and developed resources for guided giving accompanying each, supporting local organizations working to:

• End sexual exploitation and trafficking through prevention, intervention and the restoration of victims through our SAFE in Minnesota fund,
• Preserve and strengthen God’s design for the critical unit of society by affirming life and equipping biological, adoptive and foster parents through our FAMILY in Minnesota fund,
• Prevent homelessness and address short-term and long-term needs on the path to regaining housing stability through our HOME in Minnesota fund, and 

• Help incarcerated men, women and juveniles know the transforming love of Jesus and be restored as valued and active members of their communities through our FREE in Minnesota fund.

All Nehemiah Funds events are open to NCF Twin Cities givers and friends interested in considering how to give more strategically and impactfully.
