It is incredibly important that we take time to remember.
There was a time in the history of Israel, immediately after a battle, that it became apparent that everything that had just happened had been entirely accomplished by God. So Samuel memorialized the moment by placing an Ebenezer – a stone of remembrance – a reminder of the One who had always been their help.
Samuel took a stone and set it up … and called its name Ebenezer; for he said, “Till now the LORD has helped us” (1 Samuel 7:12).
Remembering gives us a moment to pause, reflect, express gratitude, and build confidence for what is about to come. So, we want to remember 2018 with you. This is our Ebenezer, our way of remembering what has been accomplished in God’s name and by his grace.
“Til now the LORD has helped us.” And it is our confidence that there is more to come, that he who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it.
Dream big. Continue to trust in God. And never forget the One who provided all the resources you have to give.
