It’s summertime, which means movies or showtimes for friends and families. Whether you’re looking for the perfect film for a family movie night or something suitable for Christian adults, here are a few entertainment options that are uplifting, inspirational, and faith-affirming.

  1. Sight is based on the true story of Ming Wang, an impoverished Chinese prodigy who flees Communist China to become a pioneering eye surgeon in America. When tasked with restoring the sight of an orphan who was blinded by her stepmother, he must confront the trauma of living through the violent uprising – the Cultural Revolution – during his youth.   2. Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot (an NCF-giver supported film) released July 4 in theaters.
