Sue, raised their kids with such a spirit of giving that it was natural for the entire family to embrace the idea of using their successful business as an engine to fuel charitable goals. With the help of their advisors and NCF, the Rutts gave non-voting stock in their company to NCF, and the net proceeds supported the charities they love. They held a signing ceremony (above) as a declaration of their release of the family business to God.
“The gift has strengthened the purpose of what we do and why we do it,” says Jeff. “The clarity of that is very life-giving.”
