Jeff joined NCF in 2017 coming from his own firm that purchased, rehabbed and managed a portfolio of single-family homes. His 30 years of experience in the financial industry include working as an auditor at Arthur Anderson and trading derivative products in Chicago as well as Hong Kong where his eldest daughter Bailey Ming was born. He has led various organizations from a small technology integration firm to the acting Co-CIO of a $3B multi-strategy hedge fund. His journey to NCF came after completing the Master’s Program based on Bob Buford’s book Halftime in which the author extols his readers to “Go from Success to Significance”.

Jeff has a B.S. in Accountancy from University of Illinois and passed the CPA exam in September of 1987.

He and his wife, Kristy, have been married for 27 years and now live full time in Bluffton, SC after raising their family for 20 years in Glen Ellyn, IL with their 4 daughters, 2 now graduated in the “real world” as Dad likes to say and one currently attending University of South Carolina and another attending DePaul University in Chicago. He serves on various boards in his local community and has a passion for impact investing, children’s ministry and justice missions. Jeff and family are still members of First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn where he served as the Finance chair on the Board of Session for 4 years.
