5 things you didn’t know about NCF Georgia
National Christian Foundation has been serving givers across the country since 1982, and we’ve had a team serving givers throughout Georgia since 2016. This quarter, we wanted to share some things you might not know about our team and offerings, and why we are so honored to partner with you in your communities. Thank you for helping us in our mission to mobilize resources by inspiring biblical generosity!
1. Our team has two home bases
While our office is situated in metro Atlanta, we support givers in all corners of the state. Two of our team members live full-time near the coast so we can serve our givers as their neighbors. Inherent to our Christian faith is the concept of building community with other believers, and we use this principle to guide us in our local outreach by regularly traveling across the state and hosting events. These allow us to get to know our givers through highly relational, rather than transactional, environments.
2. We have a combined 120 years of experience
Our NCF Georgia team members have a wide variety of personal interests, from teaching Zumba to playing A-1 tennis, but what we have in common is a shared desire to inspire people to radical generosity. We have professional backgrounds in ministry, law, and finance, with a combined 120+ years of technical experience. The Lord brought us together to serve in ministry at NCF. Because of our diversity of gifts and backgrounds, we have the unique capacity to serve givers, advisors, and ministry leaders with a high-touch experience.
3. Our top concern is for your spiritual health
Our hearts are geared toward helping you discover God’s calling for your life by creating environments that inspire radical generosity for his kingdom. One way we help someone on their journey is to uncover the heart of the issue at hand. Recently, one of our Relationship Managers met with a couple who were initially focused on the potential tax benefits of a gift, but as the Holy Spirit guided the conversation from transactional to relational, we found that they also needed direction about discussing giving with their children. As you progress in your spiritual journey, our team has various solutions to fit your financial needs.
4. We can help you leave your legacy
Is your family aligned around the Christ-centered values you want to leave as a legacy? Our team can help you prepare your giving strategy and succession plan. With a well-crafted succession plan, you make your wishes for the future of your Giving Fund known and allow your successors or favorite charities to share in your generosity, even after your lifetime. This plan takes the burden off your loved ones and ensures that your estate will continue supporting the causes important to you.
5. We regularly host events throughout the state
As we build personal relationships with Christian givers, we also invite them into larger communities with like-minded people through Journeys of Generosity (JOGs). These are retreats designed to help you think about generosity from a biblical perspective. Through experiences and discussion with peers, you’ll explore how to live generously in your marriage, business, ministry, and your whole life. All JOGs are solicitation-free environments.
