Joe Ryan
Joe Ryan joins the NCF Georgia team as a Relationship Manager, serving givers, advisors, and ministries throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
Before joining NCF, Joe spent more than 30 years in pastoral ministry and church leadership. He served for 13 years leading the student ministry at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta and most recently spent 10 years as Executive Pastor at Kairos Church in Sandy Springs. Joe is known for his steady relational leadership approach and deep commitment to equipping others for impact. He holds a Master of Divinity from Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology.
Joe is passionate about serving others through both ministry and community engagement. His family’s mission is to live with kindness, compassion, and courage while pouring their lives out for others. He loves coaching and teaching baseball and has spent years investing in young athletes, including coaching his own son and providing lessons to neighborhood kids. He is actively involved with Sandy Springs Mission, a faith-based nonprofit serving Latino students, and founded the Mission Baseball Academy, where, for the past seven years, he and a team of volunteer coaches have led baseball camps for students each spring and summer.
Joe was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area and moved to Atlanta in 2003 with his wife, Miriam. They will celebrate 25 years of marriage this November after meeting at a summer camp. They have two children and live in Sandy Springs, where they attend Kairos Church. Joe enjoys gardening, especially growing hot peppers, cooking wood-smoked barbecue, and spending time outdoors with family and friends around a campfire.
