Matthew Hendley

Generosity Ambassador

Matthew serves National Christian Foundation as a Relationship Manager and Generosity Ambassador. He encourages families, ministry leaders and financial advisors all across the state of Georgia to find the joy of giving. Matthew is passionate about the generosity movement and enjoys facilitating Journey of Generosity retreats to encourage givers in their walk with Christ. Prior to NCF ministry, he taught public high school for three years and then, he and his family served for fifteen years in various leadership roles at the Paul Anderson Youth Home (PAYH), a faith-based non-profit, which serves troubled teenage boys. He invests in his community primarily by mentoring others, bible teaching, serving families, leading retreats and participating in prayer ministry.

He is co-founder of the non-profit, The Ingathering, Inc., along with his wife Shannon. The Ingathering focuses on: biblical stewardship, teaching the Christian community to honor the Jewish culture and tradition, consulting with other non-profits in resource development, and instruction of biblical living principles to families.

Matthew is an ordained minister, Gideon, Eagle Scout, and member of the C12 Board in Savannah. He is a member of Kingdom Advisors, a national network of Christian financial advisors, and Generous Giving’s Circle of Champions.  Matthew received his Bachelor of Science and his Masters in Education from the University of Georgia.
