JD Tyler

JD Tyler serves with NCF Gulf South, bringing a background in development, sales, and ministry. He most recently served as Director of Development at Small Magic, where he led fundraising and donor engagement. Before this, JD worked in growth roles at one of Forbes’s top SaaS startups, where he set multiple revenue records and partnered with clients globally.

He holds an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Religion and Communication Studies from Samford University, which continue to shape his thoughtful, mission-driven approach to leadership, generosity, and community impact.

JD is grateful to call Birmingham home alongside his wife and daughter. Outside of work, JD is a member of Iron City Church and writes regularly for multiple publications on topics ranging from spiritual formation to horology.
