Sandra G.Y. Young

Sandra Young is a general practitioner with an emphasis in family law, including adoptions, guardianships, paternity, divorce, and separations. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling and Guidance from Point Loma College in San Diego, California and her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law. After graduating from law school, she worked for the Legal Aid Society and served indigent clients. Thereafter, she worked with the State Bar of California in Los Angeles where she prosecuted attorneys for professional misconduct before coming to Hawai‘i.

Ms. Young is an active member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and an inactive member of the California State Bar. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Christian Legal Society of Hawaii, Hawaii Family Forum, Hawaii Family Advocates and the National Christian Foundation Hawaii. During her spare time, she plans outreaches with ministry leaders in the community.
