Nathan Hansen
Nathan Hansen joins the NCF Heartland team as a Relationship Manager, serving givers, advisors, and ministries throughout the Heartland region.
Nathan brings more than a decade of fundraising and donor strategy experience across higher education, consulting, and the nonprofit sector. Most recently, he served as Chief Development Officer at Love Columbia, where he led fundraising, marketing, and community engagement efforts. Prior to that, Nathan served as a Senior Director with CCS Fundraising, advising national clients on campaign readiness, major gift strategy, and philanthropic growth. His experience also includes advancement leadership roles at the University of Missouri, Santa Clara University, and Lake Forest College, where he raised major, planned, and principal gifts and managed national donor portfolios.
Nathan holds a Bachelor’s in Organizational Communication from the University of Missouri and has completed coursework toward the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation through The American College of Financial Services.
Born and raised in Missouri, Nathan spent time in Chicago and Silicon Valley before returning home. He and his wife, Sarah, have been married for 10 years and are raising their two boys, in Columbia, Missouri. They are members of The Crossing Church. Nathan is a self-proclaimed master pretzel maker and has made thousands for friends and family. He is also a chess enthusiast and a devoted reader of Roman and Greek history.
