Dawniel Blackheart

Dawniel is a dedicated and results-driven professional with extensive experience in donor relations, complex gift coordination, and client services. In her role as a Director of Giver Services, Dawniel brings several years of expertise in managing donor relationships and ensuring seamless gift management processes.

Previously, as the Director of Giver Services/Donor Relations at the NCF California office, Dawniel played a pivotal role in building strong, lasting relationships with donors and financial advisors. She was responsible for onboarding new donors, designing and leading outbound campaigns to enhance community visibility, and managing complex gifts and stock donations. Her hands-on approach to leadership extended to training and supervising teams, ensuring effective support for year-end initiatives and providing expert guidance in the use of technology for tracking and managing donations.

Earlier in her career, Dawniel demonstrated exceptional performance in inside and outside sales. Where she excelled as a top representative.  She was recognized for revitalizing struggling accounts, offering personalized service to clients, and providing training on new equipment and web-based software, ultimately driving success across multiple counties in Southern California.

With a passion for service and a commitment to making a meaningful impact, Dawniel combines her leadership, strategic thinking, and customer-focused approach to create lasting value for the organizations she serves.

Outside of work, Dawniel is passionate about painting, baking, hiking, and being active in the community. She is dedicated to helping women be successful by offering interview prep, resume writing, life skills, life coaching and spiritual guidance.

She is married to David, and they have an adult son, William.
