NCF Lancaster

A local community of faithful Christian givers

Our team has the privilege of walking alongside givers, helping them discern God's story for their generosity as they navigate the complicated landscape of giving. For 40+ years, givers at NCF have mobilized more than $25 billion for 90,000+ charities in their local communities and around the world.

A Note From Jon Eisenberg

I was enjoying a rich conversation with some new friends when Sally asked “Do we really believe God thinks we are his MOST precious treasure?”  I immediately felt a mixture of conviction and joy.

I had invited 10 new friends, all connected to NCF, to join me for a Journey of Generosity (JOG).  We spent a day in deep conversations prompted by video testimonies, Bible Study, and just opening up to each other about a subject we rarely discuss – money and generosity.  Many were meeting each other for the first time.  Yet we left with a common bond.  That’s consistently what happens when people set aside time to talk about God’s extravagantly generous love for us and how that shapes the way we see and engage the world around us.  It’s why I love inviting people to join me on a JOG.

I left that JOG going directly to the Adirondacks for a week with my family.  Surrounded by the beauty of mountains and lakes and people I love…my mind kept wandering back to Sally’s question.

I return to the office with an increased sense of the wonder and privilege that comes from seeing God’s extravagant generosity lived out through the NCF community.  I hope each of you experiences being God’s most precious treasure, whether on vacation or just in the normal routine of life.

PS – Let me know below if you would like to learn more about JOGs. I would love to get to know more of you through these retreats.

Peace,

Jon D. Eisenberg
