Hunter Hess
Hunter serves as the Relationship Manger at NCF Lancaster. Before joining NCF, Hunter served for more than 20 years as a senior organizational leader in the non-profit and faith-based space. He’s led teams and served as a primary spokesperson, guiding organizations through change while building trust with clients and stakeholders. He is known for clear communication, steady leadership in complexity, and a strong commitment to client-centered service, while maintaining alignment, morale, and mission focus.
Hunter serves on the board of Christopher Dock Mennonite Academy and Indian Creek Foundation. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Eastern Mennonite Seminary, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Ithaca College.
Hunter lives in Leola, Pennsylvania, on a farm formerly owned by his grandparents. He and his wife, Grace, a Physician Assistant at a local hospital, have three children. He enjoys family walks, working the farm, and cheering on Penn State. Much of his free time is spent traveling to watch his daughter play high school and club field hockey. With her recent commitment to The Ohio State University, he’s wondering how he’ll root for the Buckeyes when they face Penn.
