In Person Meetings
- Lunch and Learn: Topics can vary by the needs of the organization. The most common topics are related to giving trends (especially the Great Wealth Transfer), what to look for in givers to identify asset-based gift opportunities, types of asset-based gifts (especially the ‘give and hold’ I mentioned), and/or how to bring assets into a conversation. This could happen with the Development team. Depending on the topic, it can help Board Members understand how to advocate for your work among their sphere of influence.
- Donor Visit: If you have a giver who seems well qualified, we can join a member of your team as an ‘expert witness’. This could happen on Zoom or in person depending on the situation
- Presentation at Event: We can offer asset-based giving and/or estate giving presentations or event to encourage philanthropy. These options can be advantageous for those with appreciated assets and can create a lasting legacy. Sharing these concepts with relevant audiences can help them understand their choices and make a positive impact through their giving.
- Journey of Generosity: Gather a small group of your Board members and major donors for an inspiring experience to explore what God says about biblical generosity in your marriage, business, ministry, and whole life. Our trained facilitators will provide a safe space to share stories, ask questions, and create intentional time to listen to the Holy Spirit and discover God’s desire for our lives related to generosity.

- Giving Strategy: While we have deep expertise in tax-advantaged giving, our passion is helping people find more joy in giving by working individually and as a family to develop a Giving Strategy.
- NCF does not give grants. That’s right, our Givers recommend grants through their Giving Funds to the churches and charities they love. We provide unique tools and opportunities so that they can mobilize monies to Kingdom causes.
- NCF does not “promote” charities to Givers. NCF Givers can search for charities, churches, and causes in a variety of ways. Our team, if requested, may be asked to provide guidance.
