Lee B. Torrence

Lee B. Torrence brings a wide variety of corporate, consultant, entrepreneurial, and leadership experiences to the NCF Board of Directors.

In his 34 years with IBM, Lee held a variety of executive sales, consulting, and global management positions and retired in the role of Managing Director and State Executive for Georgia. His passion is the application and institutionalization of biblical truth for transformational change in the lives of leaders, the organizations they lead, and the communities in which they do business.

As a real estate investor and developer, he has a passion for transforming urban communities and providing clean water in developing countries, including Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Panama, Philippines, and Nigeria.

For over four decades, Lee has invested his time and talents in early education within Atlanta’s inner-city communities. He is former Vice Board Chair and continues to serve on the board of Peace Preparatory Academy. Established in 2015 on the west side of Atlanta, Peace Preparatory Academy seeks to be a place that educates the whole child, supports the whole family, and provides growth and change opportunities for the whole community in a high-quality, Christ-centered learning environment.

Lee and his wife, Bobbie, live in Atlanta. They have been married for 41 years and have two sons and four grandchildren.
