You spend time organizing your schedule, professional career, retirement plan, and many other areas of life. But have you considered developing a strategy for your charitable giving? The National Christian Foundation helps givers just like you develop a personalized Giving Strategy™ to meet their unique giving goals. ​​We believe creating a personalized Giving Strategy based on biblical principles is the most powerful way you can pursue God’s vision for your generosity. This simple process will help you identify causes you’re passionate about, leave a meaningful legacy, cultivate family unity, and maximize what you have to give.

About the tool

NCF’s Giving Strategy is a five-step, guided experience. It can be completed in paper format or online. It begins with an overview of our biblical foundation for generosity, ten principles that guide Christians in giving. It then walks through four chapters of self-reflection on the following topics:

  • Legacy: Crafting your generosity story for future generations
  • Causes: Clarifying where God is calling you to give
  • Family: Cultivating a sense of unity and purpose
  • Wealth & resources: Making the most of what God has entrusted to you

After completing their Giving Strategy, one participant said, “We were able to give more to charity just through a few small changes in how we gave, thanks to NCF. But more than that, our family has become more generous with each other and with all the resources God has given us.”

  2. Make your selection between a hard copy, paper booklet or our digital online experience.
  3. Follow our instructions to complete the Giving Strategy exercise on your own time.
  4. Optionally, we would be happy to sit down with you to discuss your strategy and tools to implement it.
