Prioritizing generosity in major-donor strategy

On Thursday, May 7, we were delighted to spend the afternoon with local charity leaders. We enjoyed NCF’s recent webinar on shifting from transactional to transformational relationships with major donors. Guests were reminded of practical ways to make others feel truly seen. The focus becomes helping to uncover how God is writing their story, and where generosity might play a role.

Charity leaders know that connecting with major donors is about more than dollars raised. It’s about stewarding hearts, stories, and callings, because behind every gift is a journey of generosity waiting to be nurtured. This training focused on the shift from transactional fundraising to transformational relationships. We were reminded of practical ways to align with donor values, foster deeper connection, and invite major donors into a fuller expression of generosity that produces lasting kingdom impact.
