David Ewell

David Ewell is a third-generation Air Force veteran, born in Montgomery, Alabama while his father was stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base. He was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado—an Air Force town and home to the U.S. Air Force Academy—where he attended a public high school located on Academy grounds. This upbringing instilled in him a lifelong appreciation for service, discipline, and community.

David earned his degree in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University in 2003, a Christian university in East Los Angeles County. During his time at APU, he was awarded both vocal and piano scholarships, ultimately serving as the pianist for the University Choir and Orchestra—an ensemble of over 100 singers and a 40-piece orchestra.

With more than 25 years of experience as a vocational church pianist, David currently serves on the music team at First Baptist Church in Cumming, Georgia. His professional background includes a diverse career in direct sales across industries such as custom cabinetry, Steinway pianos, early childhood education, and most recently, residential real estate with Keller Williams Community Partners in Cumming.

Now part of the National Christian Foundation, David is passionate about using his business acumen and heart for ministry to serve a Christ-centered mission. He and his wife, Cheryl—Chief of Staff at Hire Heroes USA—live in Georgia with their three sons: Sawyer, Davis, and Caleb. Together, they are dedicated to making an eternal impact through generosity, service, and faith.
