Trina Stone

“I am a disciple of Jesus, love Him and want to make Him known in my family, in my business and in the communities, I find myself involved.”

Trina is a native of South Carolina and moved to Arlington, TX in 1983 with husband, David. She has three adult children, Allan, Preston, and Kathryn, two daughters-in-law and six grandsons.

She attended Columbia College and received a BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry and ,for six years, sold for Bristol-Meyers and Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals.

Trina worked for a small business in Dallas as bookkeeper and learned about accounting and finance, soon discovered a love for numbers and the business world.

In 1991, she and her husband started First Rate. Roles in their business included accounting, financial planning, Controller, CFO and now Executive Chairwoman.

She has a heart for coaching and mentoring young entrepreneurs and global employees in business with a mission to expand God’s kingdom. For the last 10 years she has been teaching in Business Schools in Youth with a Mission bases around the world about business planning, financial planning, and general accounting practices. “I do this because I believe one of our greatest forms of worship is working as unto the Lord. I also see that all the world desires or needs is a good job to be an influencer in their family and communities. And God’s way is the BEST way to do business to create those jobs that people want.”

Trina has served on multiple Board of Advisors for local, US based and international nonprofit organizations.

She also loves to travel, hike, be outdoors, entertain in her home, both family and friends and welcome all who come her way.
