Raised in Orlando, Florida, Alex Radler’s early life was marked by a series of reckless twists and turns until he found his purpose in South Sudan, Africa, surrendering his life to Jesus. As the youngest of four boys, Alex graduated from Samford University in 2012 with an accounting degree, initially planning a career in Oil & Gas or Real Estate. However, God had different plans for him.

In 2013, Alex moved to South Sudan to help construct 4africa’s Leadership Academy of South Sudan (LASS). This period was transformational, as God revealed to Alex the true meaning of having a relationship with Him, forged lifelong friendships with South Sudanese friends, and unearthed the true desires of his heart.

Returning to the US in 2014, Alex transitioned to an operations role with 4africa, focusing on the organization’s WASH (water access, sanitation, and hygiene) Programs. He later became the Development Director, leveraging his experiences in East Africa and his spiritual gifts in building relationships to engage supporters and donors in 4africa’s mission. In late 2019, Alex was promoted to President of 4africa, where he continues to utilize his gifts, experiences, and passion for serving and connecting people.

In addition to his role with 4africa, Alex serves as an advisor to his father, Michael Radler, founder of The Radler Foundation, to achieve the family’s philanthropic goals. Alex and Michael share a unique Principal/Founder – Gen 2 relationship rooted in their faith and desire to serve others. Their relationship has strengthened over the years through their shared interests in Africa, philanthropy, and applying a business mindset to giving.

Alex married Chelsea, the love of his life, in 2016. They are proud parents to their daughter, Sterling, their son, Suede, and their English Cream Retriever, Paddington Bear. The Radlers enjoy living in Fort Worth, traveling to new places Chelsea discovers on Instagram, and seeking out great new restaurants. Both Alex and Chelsea love Jesus and are grateful each day for the opportunity to experience His love in new ways
