Tom Wilson

Director of Community Engagement

Tom Wilson brings decades of leadership experience in ministry and nonprofit organizations to NCF North Texas. After earning his Bachelor of Science from West Texas State University and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, Tom dedicated much of his career to Young Life, serving in various leadership roles, including Area Director, Regional Director, and Senior Vice President overseeing 23 states and Central America. His expertise in fundraising, strategic planning, and organizational development also led him to serve as CEO of Halftime and Leadership Network, as well as Empowering Community Healthcare Outreach (ECHO). Most recently, he helped launch Betterman ministries before joining the NCF North Texas team. Tom and his wife, Linda, have been married since 1967. She is a Marriage and Family Therapist, and together they have three adult children and five grandchildren.
