Giving Community
You’re Not Giving Alone
When you open a fund with NCF North Texas, you gain access to more than a charitable giving account. You step into a local ecosystem of faith-aligned givers, trusted relationships, practical tools, and thoughtful guidance designed to help you give with wisdom, confidence, and Kingdom purpose.
A Local Ecosystem for Faithful Generosity
Generosity is deeply personal, but it does not have to happen in isolation. At NCF North Texas, we believe giving is strengthened through prayer, wisdom, trusted counsel, and encouragement from others who share a desire to steward God’s resources well.
The NCF North Texas Generosity Community is not a formal membership club or affinity group you have to join. Rather, it is an opportunity to engage. When you open a fund with NCF North Texas, you are connected to a local network of Christian givers, resources, and experiences that can support your generosity journey at your own pace.
Some givers engage by attending events or participating in small-group experiences. Others prefer one-on-one conversations, curated tools, or quiet guidance from their Relationship Manager. However you choose to engage, our desire is to help you give with greater clarity, confidence, and eternal perspective.
“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” — Hebrews 10:24
Engage with like-minded givers
Through NCF North Texas, you have the opportunity to connect with other givers who care deeply about faithfulness, stewardship, and Kingdom impact. These connections may happen through events, small gatherings, facilitated experiences, or personal introductions made as needs and questions arise.
This does not mean every giver knows every other giver. It means you are part of a broader community of people seeking to give with similar values and spiritual alignment. As Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “iron sharpens iron,” and generosity can be strengthened when we learn from others who are walking a similar path.
Learn through events and experiences
NCF North Texas hosts gatherings designed to educate, encourage, and form givers. These events create space to hear from trusted leaders, explore important issues, ask thoughtful questions, and consider how generosity can become more intentional and impactful.
Some events are larger educational gatherings. Others may be smaller conversations or experiences focused on a particular topic, season of life, or area of giving. The goal is not simply to provide information, but to encourage wise, prayerful, and faithful generosity.
Access trusted connections and counsel
Sometimes a giver needs more than information. They need perspective. You may be considering a gift to a new ministry, wondering how other families approach a specific cause, or looking for someone with experience in an area you care deeply about.
Your NCF North Texas Relationship Manager can help you think through those questions and, when appropriate, connect you with people, ministries, or resources that may help you take the next step. Scripture reminds us that plans are established through wise counsel (Proverbs 15:22), and we see this as an important part of serving givers well.
Give with greater confidence through grantmaking insight
One of the unique resources available through NCF North Texas is the collective grantmaking insight of our local giving community. While we always protect the privacy of our givers, we can often provide high-level context as you evaluate charitable opportunities.
For example, if you are considering a gift to a particular ministry or cause area, your Relationship Manager may be able to share whether other NCF North Texas families have supported that organization or similar work. This kind of insight does not tell you where you should give, but it can offer helpful confirmation as you discern. In many ways, NCF North Texas can serve as a trusted “phone a friend” when you are exploring a new giving opportunity.

Use tools for your Generosity Journey
Every generosity journey looks different. Some individuals and families are just beginning to think intentionally about giving. Others are navigating complex decisions around family generosity, business transition, legacy, or multi-generational stewardship.
NCF North Texas offers tools and experiences to help you pray, plan, and give with purpose. These may include prayer resources, giving strategy tools, Journey of Generosity experiences through Generous Giving, Women Doing Well studies and experiences, and one-on-one guidance from your Relationship Manager.
These resources are designed to help you slow down, seek the Lord, clarify your values, and align your giving with the purposes God has placed on your heart. We offer:
