David Ewell

I’m a third generation Air Force Veteran, and was born in Montgomery, AL when my father was stationed at Maxwell AFB. I grew up in Colorado Springs, also an Air Force town and home to the Air Force Academy. Though a public school, my high school was on Air Force Academy property. I attended Azusa Pacific University, a Christian school located in east Los Angeles County, CA. I graduated from APU in 2003 with a degree in Business Administration, but was first on a vocal scholarship, and then a piano scholarship for three years as the pianist for the University Choir and Orchestra (100 singers and a 40-piece orchestra). I have been a vocational church pianist for more than 25 years and currently play at First Baptist Church in Cumming. GA. I have spent most of my career in direct sales across various industries including custom cabinetry, Steinway pianos, early childhood education, and most recently prior to joining NCF I was in residential real estate with Keller Williams Community Partners in Cumming. I have been married to my beautiful wife Cheryl since April, 2014 and I have 3 sons: Sawyer (2011), Davis (2016) and Caleb (2018). Cheryl also works in the non-profit world as the Chief of Staff for Hire Heroes USA (also based in Alpharetta) and we are very excited to be a part of such an amazing, Christ-centered organization!
