Michael Booth

Senior Gift Planner

Mike joined The National Christian Foundation (NCF) in 2007 and currently serves on the Gift Planning Team. Helping people develop in their roles as stewards of the assets God has entrusted to them, his primary focus is offering insight as to the best way gifts of non-liquid assets such as real estate, business interests, restricted securities, and personal property can be used to fund giving opportunities. Such gifts usually provide a far greater tax deduction than if the giver had sold the asset themselves and then donated the proceeds to charity.

Mike graduated from Mercer University in Atlanta with a B.A. and Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law with a J.D.

Mike was in private practice in the Atlanta area where he specialized in real estate, small business formation and basic estate planning. He also created and ran a title company, has been an assistant district attorney and was a part-time city judge for number of years.

Prior to joining NCF, Mike served as the director of The Great Commission Foundation of Campus Crusade for Christ, and has served in other capacities including roles as director and trustee to other non-profits.

Mike lives in Canton, GA with his wife and sons and is an active member of his church.
